Firoz Shah Fort - The city of Ghosts
It was a most memorable moment of my life.
I visited Firoz Shah Fort in August last summer.
Someone told me that if I visit Delhi then I should go to Firoz Shah Fort.
If you don't know when the fort of Firoj Shah is one of the world's most haunted place.
It always remains in the news of India because of its paranormal activities.
According to the public of Delhi if you go with your wish in this fort at Thursday then the spirits of fort help to complete your wishes.
This place is widely known as the city of ghosts.
it's the main attraction in Delhi tourism.
thousands of people come every week here to know its truth.
As well as foreigners also often come here.
According to local people if you have any wish then write it on paper and pin it at the wall of the fort and after some days your wish will be complete.
I actually talk some people there regard this topic who claimed that spirits really full fill everyone's wish if you have faith in them.
some calls it blind faith.
Actually, paranormal activities are not the only reason to visit this place it also has a very interesting history.
This fort was made by Firoz Shah Tughlaq.
Firoz was the emperor of Delhi and one of very important in Tughlaq dynasty.
This was architected in 1350 AD.
You can see some beautiful old structure in this fort.
There's is also a mosque which is still in use, isn't it intrusting?
Firoze once promises his subjects to give them something special in his memory before his death and he did so, actually, if you visit this fort then you can see a PILLAR of Ashoka in middle of it.
Ashokan pillar was a well-known monument at that time but it was situated in Topra(U.P) so Firoz transported it from Topra to Delhi and stabilized in his fort.
If you want to know more about Pillar of Ashoka then read my previous posts.
People of Delhi were very pleased after seeing Pillar in their city so was emperor.
Later that year in 1388AD Firoz died.
Local people think the spirit of the emperor is still living here.
well, I can promise you that this fort can make your day memorable whenever you visit there.
There's a lot of things to see like Pillar, Mosque, The Fort, Garden and many more monuments......
I hope you like my post.
Tell me what you think about it in comments.
