Friends today I'm going to tell u about Humayun's Tomb.

if you are planning to come to Delhi then you should visit Humayun's Tomb.
it's such a wonderful place.
Address-Mathura Road, Oppo. Nizamuddin Police Station,
Nizamuddin East, New Delhi, Delhi 110013, India
Friends as you know Babur(Humayun's father) was the founder of Mughal empire in India.
He conquered India in 1526 AD.
Babur also fought famous first Panipat battle in which he won comfortably.
scholar's rate Babur very high even he wasn't able to rule on India for a long time.
Babur died in 1530 from food poisoning bt in his biography Tujuk e Baburi which is written by his sister, she tells that he died from poison which was given by his officer.
so after his death, Humayun was his Successor.
Humayun was the only emperor of India who ruled in two phases.
first-1530-1540 AD
second-1555-1556
Sher Shah Suri defeated him in 1540 AD so he ran away from India and lived an unknown life in Afghanistan.
After 15 years he gathered a strong army and attacked India and Conquered it Again.
But he wasn't able to rule for long period and died in 1556 AD after falling from the stairs of Library.
he married with 3 women.
But only Hamida Banu is famous because She gave birth to The Great Akbar who is probably the most important emperor of Mughal.
it'll be not wrong if we say that Humayun is more famous because of his son Akbar.
Humayun didn't do any kind thing towards his subjects.
Economically his empire wasn't as good as Babur's empire.
Probably his biggest achievement was conquering India again.
After his death, His beloved wife Hamida made his Tomb which is also the only tomb in the world which is made by a queen.
if you visit his tomb then you find something written in Arabic on his grave, which is called ayat.

which are taken from the Quran.
there is also a tomb of his barber to whom he liked so much.
So friends if you are really interested in Indian History then I'll highly recommend you to visit Humayun's tomb.
