Ghost Village of KULDHARA

Kuldhara, little over 25 km to the west of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. Kuldhara is an abandoned village in Jaisalmer India.

Kuldhara was established around the 13th century by Paliwal Brahmins.
Kuldhara stands desolate and an uncanny silence prevails all around Jaisalmer. This village was abandoned by its people near 200 years ago.
It was during this time that Salim Singh, the Diwan of Jaisalmer known for his debauchery and unscrupulous tax collecting methods and cruelness, set his eyes on the beautiful daughter of the village chief.
The Diwan was absolutely hell-bent and having the girl and he told the villagers if they came in his way he would levy huge taxes on them and punish them.
Fearing the wrath and anger of the Diwan The people of the entire village fled one dark night.
Nobody saw them leave Nor did anyone figure where they went and what happened with them. they simply vanished.
 The village now lies ruins. Gradually, it occupies reputation as a haunted site. Kuldhara is a desolate place with a forlorn look and brings sadness to the hurt when one thinks of those unfortunate people who were forced to leave their motherland.
You can feel the sadness in the air at this place.
 today some recognise the ruins as a hotspot for paranormal activity which attracts the occasional tourists.
To this day it remains unknown, Where The villagers of Kuldhara relocated to one that mysterious night.
